Meet Andrew, a resilient min-60-year-old gentleman who embarked on a transformative journey toward health and happiness with me. Almost two years ago, Andrew approached me seeking a new path to well-being while navigating the challenges of grief and recovering from depression.

To Strength, Healing, & Joy Through Wellness Coaching
Embarking on a Keerthy's wellness journey was a privilege. At a pivotal moment in her life, grappling with the aftermath of miscarriage loss and overwhelmed emotions, Keerthy sought support to navigate her mental health challenges and initiate a committed strength training journey.
Our collaborative efforts aimed at creating a foundation for Keerthy's flourishing. Establishing consistent habits, integrating weight training, walking, and yoga into her routine, we laid the groundwork for both physical and mental strength. Mindfulness practices became a cornerstone of Keerthy's routine, fostering resilience and self-awareness.
In the process, Keerthy embarked on a profound self-healing and self-discovery journey. Confronting and embracing neglected aspects of herself, she forged a compassionate relationship with her inner self. Months of focused dedication to her well-being culminated in a beautiful outcome—Keerthy successfully fell pregnant, welcoming a healthy and strong addition to her family.
Reflecting on her journey, Keerthy shares,"I started working with Lashara just under a year ago initially just in a personal fitness capacity. After a few sessions, Lashara identified and supported me on a wellness capacity to address the noise, stress, anxiety, and depression that had become part of my everyday state. Through exercise, daily WhatsApp support, commitment to movement, and working through what had been stopping me, Lashara met me where I was every step of the way. From 0-5k to Barcelona Marathon & Beyond!
Meet Edward, a resolute individual who embarked on an exceptional health journey through my run accountability coaching programme. Confronted with a sedentary lifestyle, a demanding work schedule, and the emotional weight of a family bereavement, Edward found himself at a crossroads. Struggling with high blood pressure and cholesterol, he knew it was time for a change, and so he turned to Fit Living for support.
Our journey kicked off with a 0-5km run plan spanning six weeks. Fuelled by determination and discipline, Edward embraced a structured walk/run program that evolved as he progressed. With my guidance and his unwavering effort, he not only conquered the 10km plan but set his sights on an even more ambitious goal—the marathon.
Edward's resilience and dedication shone through as he tackled the challenges of marathon training.
Starting with an initial pace of 14:34 min per mile, he pushed his limits and crossed the finish line of the Barcelona Marathon in an impressive 4 hours and 34 minutes.
His transformation extended beyond the physical realm, marking a profound shift in mindset that permeated every aspect of his life.
But our journey wasn't just about running. We delved into easy, healthy food choices that complemented his fitness goals, providing Edward with a newfound understanding of nutrition. As a result, not only did he shed a stone along the way, but his commitment to holistic health spurred him to explore new avenues like swimming and even try singing lessons. Edward's entire perspective on life underwent a positive change.
Creating actionable plans, cultivating concrete habits, and fostering sustainable change became the cornerstone of Edward's success. Witnessing his journey has been incredibly rewarding. And as Edward shared in his own words, "Teamed up with Lashara to kick start a pathway back into running after a long layoff and to achieve a target of getting from 'couch' to running a 5k without stopping. Meet Rita, a resilient soul who embarked on a journey of creating sustainable change and health transformation. Rita faced a daunting health challenge—a diagnosis of chronic fatigue compounded by the aftermath of long COVID. Frustrated with the lack of support from the NHS and feeling defeated in her daily life, Rita reached out in the hope for a turnaround in her health.
From the onset, Rita's struggle was palpable—shortness of breath, light-headedness, fatigue, and her inability to perform a multitude of everyday tasks without substantial rest and breaks. It was clear that her health had taken a toll on her confidence and capabilities. However, Rita chose to trust the process and put her faith in our collaborative efforts.
Together, we focused on rebuilding Rita's foundation fitness, introducing her to the world of weight training, and gradually incorporating regular exercise into her routine.
Beyond the physical, we honed in on essential aspects of her well-being—establishing good sleep hygiene, making targeted nutrition changes, and nurturing her inner resilience.
The results were nothing short of extraordinary. Rita not only regained the strength to handle everyday tasks but discovered newfound confidence to embark on adventures, including joining the Crete Retreat—a solo journey she never thought possible.
