This super quick and easy recipe is the perfect little sweet treat to curb any hangry waves! I recently discovered Mell at Cake Me Happyyy, a local artisan of delicious vegan treats in Barnet, who has kindly shared this awesome recipe with us to keep us happyyy during lockdown! With only 67 calories each you cannot go wrong! Pre-workout fuel, post workout snack or just because!

The best part is that all you need to do is just mix everything together, section out the mix into bite size balls of deliciousness and eat! No waiting and no cooking!!

  • 150g hazelnuts

  • 150g dates (or if you prefer less sweet 100g is fine too)

  • 1TBS raw 100% cacao powder

  • Pinch of pink salt

  • 2-3 tbs of water or if you prefer for extra protein almond milk


  • Combine all ingredients below and portion the mix into even ball shapes to make around 12 bites. Voila! you now have delicious little bites of goodness!
